AU-IBT is situated in the western part of Denmark and offers undergraduate and graduate study programmes in engineering, business economics, management and business languages - all at the same institution.
Our study programmes are based on interaction across professional boundaries as well as close interaction with students and the surrounding business community. Furthermore, all the study programmes have an innovative and international perspective. AU-IBT has approximately 2,000 students (about one half are full-time students and the other part-time students).
Aarhus University, Institute of Business and Technology (AU-IBT)
AU-IBT was founded in 1995 as The Herning Institute of Business Administration and Technology - in short HIBAT. 1 August 2006 HIBAT merged with Aarhus University, and HIBAT was changed to AU-IBT.
