Many graduates have difficulty getting their first job because of the financial crisis, but at AU-IBT the situation is quite different. For the 13 MSc in Economics students expected to finish their master’s programme during the summer and autumn, 11 have already been offered a job; 8 out of the 11 students have jobs in the mentor companies with which the students have been working closely together during their studies at AU-IBT.
- The figures confirm that AU-IBT’s focus on business-related work during the study makes the students very attractive when companies are hiring, says professor and head of the MSc in Economics and Management programme Mogens Dilling-Hansen.
AU-IBT's master’s programmes include a unique mentor solution where students are assigned a mentor company through their studies. The mentor solution connects academia with the requirements of business life and gives the students enhanced personal and professional skills while learning to transform theory into practice through project work in the mentor companies.
