How to become an exchange student at AU-IBT

• Apply online to become an exchange student at AU-IBT - please read the link"online application instructions (AU Institute of Business and Technology in Herning)" on the webpage before applying.

Steps 1 to 5: 

1. Contact the International Office at your home institution if you are interested in studying at AU-IBT as an exchange student for one or two semesters. Your institution will then nominate you for an exchange stay at AU-IBT
   
    
2. Check AU-IBT's study programmes and ECTS guide and draft a learning agreement (pdf) in cooperation with your home institution. The Learning Agreement must be included in the online application. 
   
   Application deadline is 1 May for the Autumn/Winter semester and 1 November for the Spring/Summer semester
   
    
3. Check with your local authorities concerning health insurance forms or EU Health Insurance Card. See the AU-IBT Survival Guide for more information (pdf).

   If you are not a citizen of the country where you are living, but have a different status such as permanent citizenship or refugee status, please contact The International Office at your home institution for information. Please note it is very important that you have valid documents before travelling to Denmark.
